The Studio Booster Club

Fundraising and Proceeds Distribution Policies and Procedures

Creating fundraising opportunities for parents of students at The Studio.

Distribution of proceeds:

Fundraisers are scheduled as determine by the Board of Directors. The nature of each fundraiser determines how funds are distributed. A portion of proceeds from most fundraisers (other than scrip) is distributed evenly amongst members. If the fundraiser requires volunteers to donate a substantial amount of time, the BOD can create incentive to work by distributing proceeds to members, using a point system, according to how many hours they volunteer. For example, 1 point can be assigned for every hour of work. Point distribution is determined by the BOD for each fundraiser as needed. Opportunity will be made known to all members and then provided on a first-come first-serve basis through means such as SignUp Genius.

There will be fundraisers in which all proceeds will benefit all members, and fundraisers that give willing members the opportunity to earn extra funding for their students. The Barre Club BOD will provide as many opportunities as possible for a wide range of volunteer jobs as is pertinent to each fundraiser.

Scrips fundraising, including King Soopers, is distributed only to the student of the purchasing member and is regarded as a rebate.

The Studio Booster Club is committed to being inclusive and transparent.
